She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Pine Trail Memory Care in Castle Rock, Colorado. Jean was born November 14, 1934 in Rock Springs, Wyoming and was raised in Green River, Wyoming.

Marjorie Ann Muench Marjorie Ann Muench died peacefully, at age 100, in hospice at Pine Grove Crossing on May 29, 2020. Born July 11, 1919 on her family farm in Macoupin County, Illinois, Marjorie was the eldest daughter of Clara Mae and John Williams.

Esther enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her two daughters. She loved spending time with her grandchildren when they came to visit. She was known as a wonderful cook, and prepared many meals and dishes to enjoy at home and with the community on special occasions. She was a 15 year member of the Wardensville Lions Club, and enjoyed activities such as reading to the community children during story hour.

Born on May 11, 1935 in Needmore, WV, she was the daughter of the late Jesse James Wilkins and Gladys May Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Landon Parker, brothers Cecil Wilkins and Earl Wilkins and sisters Edna Bott and Thelma Jones, and stepmother Marie Miller. Needless to say it was a very sad and stressful time in my family's life, but Jordyn and the rest of the staff did everything in their power to make our journey down this road the best they could. My family has known Jordyn for many years, and it was a pleasant surprise having her there to help us with all the funeral arrangements. Betsy had, “an extraordinary talent for creating suspension of disbelief” and cultivated an army of puppets to animate the children’s story time at the library. Parker Funeral Home hosted their second annual Night of Remembrance on December 06, 2022.

Betsy was born in Norfolk, Virginia on May 8, 1947, to Elizabeth Reynolds Parker and H. Betsy was born into a family that valued education and also raised her to appreciate the natural wonders of this earth. When not attending classes at Norfolk Country Day School, her youth was spent enjoying the ocean waves, reading books and collecting seashells along the coast in Virginia Beach.
